They can both be impeached but they will never be convicted and removed by the Senate, and, I highly doubt the Dem controlled House will even take up articles of impeachment against those 2.

4. That doesn't change the fact that the Senate Dems won't have the necessary 67 votes

to convict and remove them.

Even if we win all the Senate races, we would still be far short of the magic 67.

and, Thomas is old and in poor health, President Biden will most likely get to nominate someone for his seat.

Don't despair, I'm seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.

9. Filling out the forms incorrectly is a crime

Think of every time you fill out a government form -- FAFSA, taxes, DMV, voter registration, whatever

They all say that supplying false information is a crime.

She lied on her disclosure form, twice.

Only sent the 'oops, I forget' about the ones that the press had already found. Find the many more times that she lied. Problem solved.

Wouldn't be bad to look into the financials of her cult as well.

Knowingly supplying false information is... but omitting something isn’t unless you can prove that she knew about the omission and did it intentionally.

15. Sorry to have missed this - don't give up

First of all- the DU audience isn’t static. There are young people joining every day and our schools’ civics curricula aren’t always what they should be. Far better to educate than allow ignorance to fester and expand beyond this type of forum.

Second - the stages of grief are a real thing and we all go through them at different paces. We all knew what RBG’s death would mean and we’re seeing lots of likely “denial / bargaining” out there... which doesn’t always result in reasonable conclusions. The fact that process of losing more influence on the court takes several weeks just makes it worse.
