(1,733 posts)Democrats represent the majority in this country, but Trump Republicans control the levers of power. Throw the assholes out and restore the Fairness Doctrine.
I'm tired of waiting patiently for Limbaugh and Murdoch to die.

(8,053 posts)The key to NOT having to listen to the MSM pushing trump. That's who got him elected in the first place. Now look what we've had happen for the last 4 years. These COVID deaths and kids in cages and dead soldiers with bounties on their heads are on the MSM as much as they're on trump.

(3,580 posts)All they care about are clicks and ratings. They think Joe will be boring and won't sell papers or get clicks.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR BORING.

(868 posts)MSNBC being the latest to support the orange sock-puppet, sans a soul?
The true nature of big business cares nothing about humans as long as
their financial goals and watered-down claims of representing the best
interests of American Citizens.
Maximize ad profitability regardless of truth and reduce outlay by ignoring
the failures of MSM to report the actual truth.

(95,247 posts)Where she simply forwards the item without comment. Had what you cited been her first mention, that would be one thing, but it was not. Parroting prior to investigating is assisting the spread of the smear, and amounts to endorsement of it. Particularly from someone with form regarding apologetics for the present regime.

(19,264 posts)Terrible for selling ads. Worse is early voting combined with a one sided battle. More people are voting early and then tuning out. If they have done their part already (voted and donated) and the race looks safe then why tune in to all this bs. More importantly who is going to watch the ads if they don't.
Now if the race suddenly gets close and scary maybe they stay glued to their TVs (and browsers) and do their duty consuming all those precious precious ads.
Selling ads is all that matters.

(3,580 posts)Maggie used to work at the New York Post. She also is quite friendly with Trump and the Kushners, mostly due to her mom.
She has been writing Trump-friendly articles about Trump for many years. She has access to Trump that few other reporters have.

(203 posts)First thing this morning as I flipped through the "news," multiple stories about "the polls are wrong" "Trump's secretly winning" "the 'court packing question' as doomed Biden" (which is hilarious, by the way). Not a coincidence.
