I think that it is pretentious of Amy Coney Barrett to make her kids sit there all day.

I would never do that. How tortuous it must be for them to sit in a chair all day long listening to discussions that they could not possibly follow or be interested in.

In fact, I find it strange that yesterday they sat there like robots all day.

I am not saying that she does not love her children dearly, but that looks like some really weird parenting, imho.

He may reach her kids who may turn against their parents.

Now that would be some sweet justice

Dick Cheney used to take his grandkids with him on the campaign trail after he publicly told Sen. Pat Leahy to go fuck himself, so that hecklers would refrain from responding in kind. Similarly, Barrett's cynical handlers are assuming nobody will be less likely to grill a mom relentlessly in front of her kids.

committee members were to Kavanaugh "and his family," and how Kamala Harris "made him cry." They are exploiting those kids.

AND, being the "chreestian" woman that she is, she will leap at the opportunity to use her children to legitimize a pussy grabbing, womanizing FAKE "chreestian", who, no matter how many abortions he paid for, will use that issue to put women in their place.

Besides, I am sure she is doing exactly what her husband told her to do, just like a 2nd class, subservient piece of property (that her religion dictates that she be), must do.

I will repeat from an earlier post, "get thee behind me, woman!" And add KNOW YOUR PLACE.

You obviously have absolutely no way of knowing that, and it is an unfair assumption.

My dad worked for the Government and at a young age I understood the importance of various aspects of his job and how things worked.

I find it entirely plausible that the children were given the choice, and they gladly said yes to attending, because they understood the importance of the occasion.

Now, If the woman had any REAL integrity, she would honor Justice Ginsburg's dying wish and turn down the nomination, or at least insist the confirmation didn't happen till after January 20th, but she clearly doesn't have any in that regard, so there you go.

We need to be just as much in gutter as the repukes level any charge at them wether it is baseless or not. We saw where going "high" in the 2016 election got us.

Barrett’s husband Jesse and she debated for years whether one parent should stay home to raise the children, and she has described "soul-searching and anxiety about balancing kids and work.”

Jesse’s aunt has helped watch the kids for years and Jesse, who formerly worked as a federal prosecutor and now works in private practice, took on more of the duties at home when Barrett became a judge.

Having to sit quietly through something like that, for hours on end, is torture to young children. Add to it that their mother is using them as a prop and as a shield against criticism. This woman shouldn't even be a parent, let alone a Supreme Court Justice. She is despicable.
