But I don't know. Most Lincoln Project ads get tested on local focus groups before release, so it probably will be effective enough.

with some of the things, I've heard Rick Wilson say about Joni Ernst in interviews ('she should have stayed with castrating hogs'). Iowans are more polite people I guess.

...the same thing - "you should have stuck with castrating pigs"!

Not to bash everyone there, but maybe that's what Iowans want in their Senators?

These are the kind of ads you run in the last couple of weeks. They put the opponent on defense with little time to fight back.

So it's kinda surprising they have been going after repug senators also, but I'll never complain about their help.

Transplanted to Iowa a few years back.

This will resonate.
1. It directly attacks claims Ernst and the McConnell PAC have made in their ads.
2. Covid is spiking all over the state and now that schools have been forced open by Trump and Governor Kimmy, many parents are seeing the effects of poor response to Covid.
3. The trade war and the impact on farmers may siphon enough votes in the western parts of the state to put her over the top.

Ernst ran the last time on how she was an outsider and that she would castrate both parties like the pigs on her farm and stand as an independent for Iowa. Her record of backing McConnell will play.
She certainly hasn't worked to protect ethanol subsidies either which is where a lot of Iowa corn was going prior to 2016.

The only thing that they missed was going after her for claiming her veteran status but not standing up for the 'losers and suckers' comments. Her ads have veteran all over them -- yet crickets about them military disparagement by Trump.
