Some of my Trump-voting relatives and a bunch of their Trump-voting friends made a big deal about going out to vote on day one of early voting in their states.

Are those people just voting earlier than they otherwise would have or are they new or occasional voters who didn't vote in 16........

Just shifting a vote from 11/3 to 10/13 doesn't get us an extra vote. It does get us THAT vote though.

We need as many votes as we can get - which means we need new voters and crossover voters.

Just moving the day reliable voters vote doesn't add votes. It does have benefits, by evening out the voter lines to allow more to vote later and by having those votes in the election offices on election day.

... that enthusiasm translates, in some measure, to non-voters/independents getting to the polls.

Meaning they're more likely to complete their voting process. Flattening the curve for the voting process as it were.

our ballots were received, filled out, stuff into the envelopes (properly), sealed and delivered all in less than an hour --
I simply couldn't wait to get my vote for Joe into the system --
now, I can wear my I Voted sticker proudly
I hear 2.6 million ballots have already been received in PA
suspect they're mostly Dems --

Voting early could be a mix of all voters.

Voting early in places that have long lines could be heavily democratic. This is because the ratfuckers leave us with reduced capacity and cause it on purpose.

They're saying that Trump's supporters just can't wait to vote for him again, they're so enthusiastic. They predicted that the Trump flotillas would be driving their boats out of lakes and rivers right up to the polling places, because boater voters are a significant percentage of the electorate, and all of them vote Trump.

[Note: As far as I know, there is no podcast called Konspiracies R Us, and I wouldn't listen to it if there was. It's just a vehicle to introduce what I surmise is the Trump-humper feel-good argument for seeing those long lines.]
