What the hell is Democratic "Dark money"?

I was just going to fast-forward through Ted Cruz's performance, but that little bit caught my attention. I think he inferred that organizations like Planned Parenthood represent "dark money". Like that in anyway is equivalent to "dark money" on the right.

The look on Barrett's face while Cruz is ranting on. She looks like she is literally in pain. Everyone hates Ted Cruz, everyone.

through FEC reports, like money contributed to Super Pacs.

The GOP is clearly upset they can't keep up with Democratic fundraising, which is increasingly small dollar amounts--not dark at all.

Comparing something like affordable healthcare for women to runaway corporate greed is really rich.

from the left to those on the right is rather ludicrous. Such a typical republican tactic - "I know I am, but what are you?" Oh well, Ted Cruz loves the sound of his own voice. I think Barrett would like him to just shut the hell up.

It's all we hard about.

My view is that the law is the law, and Democrats don't need to unilaterally disarm. We do need to change the law, however.

As an example, my contributions to AMERICAN BRIDGE are not reported and are "dark money".

I just find it ridiculous when republicans talk about Democratic dark money, trying to make it sound so sinister. They attempt to equate corporate anonymous donors with donors who want a clean environment or affordable healthcare. Planned Parenthood's "agenda" is accessible healthcare for women.

Of course, I don't believe there should be anonymous donors, but it is shameless for republicans to have fought for it and then blame Democrats for using it in constructive and beneficial ways.

I should have phrased my question differently. I was just so outraged at Ted Cruz at the time.
