The term "Pack the court"

The republicans are emphasizing that this is what the democrats may do, while claiming they (the Repugs) have done no such thing.
And what the Repugs have done might not meet the historical definition.
A more accurate terminology for what the Repugs have done could be "Hijack the Courts".
Democrats are now attempting to Free the Courts from this successful hijacking at the hands of procedural terrorists -- - McConnell and his cronies, and the dark forces behind them.

4. We Democrats do not think through the consequences of our verbal utterences.

Before we realize a nasty albatross is placed around our necks.

Fore thought is better than hind sight,...but they (Fascist Republicans) excell at the wordsmith/word framing game,.. light years ahead of us. They keep it simple, basic, a bit surly and often as a crouched offensive attack.

The is why they often win the war and nearly each and every battle.

We need a Frank Luntz on our payroll,.. better yet a couple of dozen would be devine.

We lose this word war because we are too busy with life. With plenty of time on their hands, money at their disposal to hire the best linguists, pollster, data miners, the idle rich have the means to frame, defame and out shout the needs of the lessers.

9. I haven't seen any polling on this

but I just don't believe that this "issue" resonates negatively for Biden with anyone other that hard core anti-abortion zealots and beltway pundits. All the handwringing by said pundits is laughable. There isn't a single reachable undecided voter that gives two shits about "court packing".

11. Some people calibrate and tune in their radar for the here and now.

A better tactician would focus their radar on the distant horizon. You want to see and predict your enemies next move long before you are bumping elbows.

You want to see what is coming down the road before it ever gets to you. That is called defensive driving.

No one says there is anything wrong with defensive living. Early warning protective systems are everywhere,... it is a sin upon yourself not to employ them.
