I hope somebody on our side will take up the premise argued by Ben Sasse a few minutes ago!
His comments based on the "two sets of rules" idea in a baseball setting - ironically featuring one side (the Houston Astros) - who he characterized as cheaters! HAH!
Doesn't that argument that HE personally made now void this very Judiciary Committee hearing? Two sets of rules, right? One rule that Merrick Garland couldn't even be considered, EARLY in an election year - when primary season was just starting, versus NOW, when we are now LESS THAN THREE WEEKS from the actual November election, when Sasse and friends are trying desperately to jam a new justice down our throats THIS CLOSE to the next election?
DEAR GOD I HOPE SOMEBODY PUTS THAT ON THE RECORD IN THESE HEARINGS TODAY!!!!!
