=no politics at the bar is one of his rules, but he hosts an Trump event, for a friend he claims
=evers is right with the safety rules but they are too restrictive and hurting his business
There is no mention of the Wisconsin GOP, Supreme court or tavern league whom are actually more responsible for his plight than Trump
there is no mention if he advocated for reopening the bars but his is closed now

"I wouldn't have done it for anyone else," he said of VandeHei. "I don't like playing politics."
The reactions are over the top, imo. But, then again, people are pretty much responding to the tweet, not the article.

(82,849 posts)I'm not going to be too hard on someone who misplaced his trust, but when he figured out his mistake, he changed his mind. That's what intelligent people do. The others stubbornly stay on the Trump Train even as it plunges into the gorge.

(10,168 posts)Orders for our restaurants and bars yesterday. The Republicans and right wing leaning groups like this one (which has been right wing since forever), have done everything they could to thwart sane policies being put out by our Democratic Governor, Tony Evers.
This is exactly why Wisconsin is in the mess were in. We have a Republican virus thats going to kill many of us.
