RIGHT THERE.

We have clear indications this woman is a Troglodyte in a skirt. One of our soon-to-be Great Sixth-Century-BC Minds of Our Time.

6. Btw, we're having quite a conversation right now in my Indivisible group - about her and more.

A few of us are just plain EXHAUSTED. Not surprising. And not unexpected. And NOT hard to understand and appreciate.

But others of us (including this reporter), recognize that we can't relax. We CAN'T! We can't afford to! Ask yourself: do you expect the bad guys to kick back and relax after the election? I'm sure they're tired, too. I'm sure some of them are truly and legitimately exhausted. This shit takes work! Especially if you have to pretzel-bend yourself to Hell and back to manipulate your "logic" to make any real sense to a majority of thinking people.

And count me among the ranks of The Exhausted. But I don't dare let up. Mainly, I know deep down that it's what the bad guys want and wish for and dream of. That we'll give up, or decide we've gotten close enough, or figure "well, at least we ... " NO NO NO NO NO! NO "at least"!!!!

Claire McCaskill just summed it up about the foundational agenda of the GOP:
They want to overturn gay marriage.
They want to overturn Roe v Wade.
They want to overturn the ACA.

And that's just the top three!

THIS is what we're up against. And THIS is what WE have to overturn!!!

I cannot believe the GOP will put this imbecile on the Supreme Court.

It will never, ever recover its credibility.

7. She was asked directly about science in a take-climate-crisis-seriously context.

It was along the lines of the effects of the coronavirus and "does cigarette smoking cause cancer" - stuff even the most evasive and slippery a witness would agree with - but she danced all around it, would NOT confirm anything about the gravity of the climate crisis - basically because it's not a "super-precedent," like Brown v Board of Ed that nobody disagrees with or about anymore. She seems to give lots more leeway to the deniers. She seems a lot more interested in being overly generous to the folks on the WRONG SIDE of the climate crisis, even after a resounding majority of us values and defers to what science says. REAL science. Not the reality show kind.

The usage of the term "flat-earth society" or "flat-earthers" here is strictly mine.

And, again, I suppose if this was still 2017 and we really only had had about a year of this guy, I SUPPOSE we could keep on giving this SOB the benefit of the doubt. I SUPPOSE we could keep cutting him slack when he screws up, or gets caught in some scandal or chicanery or theft or outright treason, or does something that's going to wind up hurting people. But BY NOW?

Seriously?

By NOW????

Question posed just a day less than three full weeks from Election Day.
