A couple I know who are Republicans and who voted for Trump in 2016 say

they will vote for Trump again. Big discussion took place. Bottom line is they are going to vote for the dumpster because they don't like to be proven wrong and are going to stick with their decision because they resent .."I told you so." I bet there are quite a few out there who will vote for that pig just because they want to show us libs a thing or two. Any way, I have a sneaky suspicion that the wife will vote for Biden when the curtains are drawn.

Anybody else know folks voting for 45 who really don't like him but doing it just for spite because they were so wrong before?

"Those who align themselves with an AMORAL individual like Donald Trump, bring their character, intelligence, and MORALITY into question."

Then wait for their response.

Most adults don't act this way, just like the anti-mask weirdos causing a ruckus in a store are rare, not common.

There were three and a half years of a lot of people saying “f— Trump voters, it’s too late to admit their mistake now because they caused all of this,” so I can see why a lot of them would be leery of admitting they were wrong. I hope at least some of them make the right choice in the privacy of the voting booth.

is my Dad. My Mom, my sister and her boyfriend, my girlfriend, and all of my close friends who actually vote are voting Biden. My Dad's insistence on sticking with Trump has become a real sore spot in the family. My Dad raised me to be disgusted by a man like Trump, and yet he continues to sing his praises. He's lost in a Fox News alternate universe and it really bums me out. It's hurt our relationship. Hopefully, if/when Biden wins, my Dad will do some reflection as more sordid stories emerge.

how very sad it is to question the moral compass of someone you look up to. Unfortunately, that's what has happened with my Dad. I think he may be too proud to admit how wrong he was.

What I don't hear is a clear articulation of how all of his positions fit together in a cohesive platform that puts the country in a better position than the Democratic alternative. What I do hear is:

- Because of his religion
- Because I like they guy
- Because I don't really like Biden

No one wants to be told they were or are wrong. Admitting a mistake is also difficult for many. This seems an easy way out.
