According to a new SurveyUSA poll of North Carolina, Biden has a solid five-point lead over Trump in the state, 50 percent to 45 percent. The same survey last month showed the two candidates tied at 47 percent.
The results are almost identical to a Monmouth University poll released Tuesday that shows Biden leading in North Carolina by a 50 to 46 margin in a high-turnout election.

(82,849 posts)6. This is Trump's major problem
He's not the novelty he was in 2016. Everyone knows what he's all about, and he's shedding support by the thousands every day. Those votes aren't coming back to him.

(578 posts)7. As a North Carolinian I will be voting
for Biden on 11/3. I'm not sure if he will here since NC is a very weird state. It went barely for Obama in '08. Romney won it 51-49 in '12. Trump got the plurality of votes down here in '16 winning 49-46 against Hillary. The numbers do look promising right now I just hope they hold up.
