It depends on whether you are working, retired, whatever, what schedule you have.

I plan to do so in the middle of the week, as I am retired, and there should be less crowding, if any (I live in the suburbs). Spread it out/"flatten the curve" as it were, so there are fewer hassles. It would also take some of the pressure off election inspectors like me, who will be working that last day, November 3rd.

Just my 2 cents.

Out Of The Office time, he can choose what should be slow periods at the early voting site. Early in the morning on Wednesday or Thursday may also work out well, being in line before the poll opens.

If you can swing it, show up during the 2-4 pm period, 2:30pm or 3pm would be ideal on a Wednesday or Thursday.
