Long lines being reported in North Carolina as early in person voting starts today.

Raleigh, Durham, and Charlotte are all reporting long lines.

Durham, however, has a new app that gives Durham voters info on where the shortest wait is among all the Durham early voting locations!

Over 533,000 absentee ballots have already been returned out of over 1.3 million requested.

Looks like NC is heading for record turnout.

Yay!

I received confirmation today that my absentee ballot has been accepted as a valid return, but my older son's ballot which was mailed Sept 30th at the same time in the same mailbox as his partner's, is still showing as in possession of the USPS. His partner's ballot was confirmed as a valid return on Oct. 4th!

in Austin, TX. I saw some folks turn around and leave when they saw the line. Some others were in line but then left after waiting an hour or two.
