Well, folks, @KamalaHarris and I watched some of President Trump’s remarks from the campaign trail — and it went just as you’d imagine. We wanted to take a moment to clear up some of the lies he’s been saying about us.

4. This rubs me the wrong way.

They are listening to Trump flat-out-lie about my daughter's access to health care, deaths from COVID, etc. and Joe and Kamala are laughing.

Intellectually I know they are not laughing at the destruction Trump is causing - BUT none of the things being discussed are separted enough from their laughter to make my gut feel good about it.

My gut response is what rubs me the wrong way - and gut response is often far more important that the intellectual one in terms of impact.

7. It is human nature to laugh at the ridiculous and the absurd.

Much of what Trump says is both. I frequently find myself reading his tweets or quotes from his rally’s and am overcome with deep laughter.

That doesn't overcome my gut reaction.
