I saw something that was a profile in courage.
On the intersection of Redbug Road and Tuscawilla, Trumpers have been lining along the Publix side in great numbers, and waving their Trump flags. Every now and then, the sound of horns beeping are greeted with cheers. With the Trump signs are the ones that support the blue line.
Across the intersection was a sole young woman holding up a Black Lives Matter sign. She waved the sign bravely and defiantely, and looked into our cars as we drove by. I waved and gave her a thumbs up.
As brave as she was, being outnumbered in this red side of the Orlando suburbs has to be wearing. If anyone knows who she is, tell her I saw her and I am proud of her.
