(102,328 posts)a horrific character--in this case a serial killer. The latter I tend to think of as suspense dramas.
I'm with you on the former case, but well-acted suspense dramas that are not merely gratuitous gore or violence, I do watch. And the great Anthony Hopkins? I'd watch him in just about anything. )

(21,960 posts)I tried opening both town halls in two browser windows, and heard Joe Biden giving sensible, rational answers while Donald Trump spewed endless garbage over the top of him. Which is just like what the second debate would have been like.
So I was glad they did it this way, because I could just close the window with Trump and listen to what Biden was saying.
