Democrats have maintained a consistent lead of roughly 5.5% higher return rate.

For reference, the national percentage in 2016 was 79.9% of mail ballots returned. We seemingly need it to be higher than that this time for Democratic voters because so many early and election day voters are switching to mail balloting during coronavirus.

The only two counties lagging well behind the state norm return rate are Miami-Dade and Seminole

I think many Democrats are waiting to drop off ballots at early voting sites. That begins October 19th.

For that reason...using early sites to drop off mail ballots.

I considered the same strategy, since the only drop box in Miami-Dade was too far away and not convenient. But I decided to mail. It has been received.

North Carolina does report it and it's not as bad as I expected, only .9% among Democrats and .8% overall.

Georgia is interesting because they break down the rejecteds by age and gender. So far the reject rate is so low it's almost negligible. Only 101 rejected ballots among 584,000. I've been feeling much better upon seeing these numbers. Seniors are the ones most prone to rejected ballots, but only because so many of them have voted. The rate is tiny. More females (62) have had ballots rejected than males (39):
