It's this weekend that early voting is really gearing up in many states. For example, here in NM, admittedly a low population not very important state, we've had early voting at one location each country for about ten days now. Today, additional locations open up. I don't find going downtown to be very convenient, so I'll wander off to the country fairgrounds later on today to see what kind of a line there is. If it's longer than I feel like dealing with, I'll check out the Southside library, and if I don't like the line there, I'll wait a day or two.
Given that significant numbers of Republicans apparently plan to vote in person on November 3, the odds of more of them being too sick (or even dead) to make it to the polls grow every day.
