Macs have great device security, to the point that the FBI isn't able to get into terrorists devices and Apple refuses to build them a way in either.

The idea that some solder jockey in Delaware can break into it is asinine on its face.

Here is what happened. Hunter Biden has been the focus of a Russian hacking campaign since it became clear Biden would be a major challenge to Trump. They hacked Burisma and they likely hacked his icloud as well. Other things they likely found through people in his orbit. They then forge a much of things to frame as damaging to Joe to mix in, and hand that off to very willing places like the NY Post, Fox News, and Brietbart.

The text messages a d videos are meant to make people think they are really his files and the forgeries are meant to be scandals that bring Biden down.

They counted on two things, that social media would spend the stories and mainstream media would pick it up. Neither happened. Social media throttled it and mainstream media instead picked up on the Giuliani is a Russian spy story instead.

It is clear they thought they would release this stuff in the same drippy way Wikileaks did in 2016, so expect more disinformation to come out based on all this. Just remember, it is part of a Russian back conspiracy with Giuliani, Bannon, and Trump at the center.
