4. I can say two negative things right off the bat...

1. He can't spell (almost as bad as tRump)
2. He put down single mothers (remember when the TV character Murphy Brown was pregnant and he took the chance to make it into an issue).

And I've always cherished what his wife said when he was implicated in a scandal -- Paula someone? Lobbyist who invited senators to a golf resort and supposedly instead of playing golf with the fellas, um, traded favors for favors?

When it was alleged that Quayle had gone on one of these golf junkets, and allegedly, Mrs. Quayle said, "Come on, everyone knows Dan would never give up a golf game for sex."
