Won't Dem precincts have shorter lines on election day because of early voting?

We've all been enraged in past elections by stories about black and other Dem precincts having lines around the block to vote. Won't the huge surge of early voting by Dems solve that problem this election?

I know we shouldn't get overconfident, but when I think about the implications of our truly huge lead in early voting I can't help but be very optimistic. Seeing a huge line to vote drives a lot of on-the-fence voters not to vote, and I don't see that happening much in Dem precincts this time. I really think we've got this.

by election day, they will be close to 100 % of 2016 vote. If a lot of people voted, there might not be that many left who want to vote on election day.

Never underestimate GrOPers' abilities to vote-suppress.

that in the mixed precincts Dems will have a huge advantage. Meaning, if there are lines around the block in a precinct with both Dems and Republicans, then that will tend to drive away voters from both parties. Except we will already have more votes already cast.

There's just no way to spin a huge lead in votes already in the bag as anything but wonderful, especially during a surge in a pandemic with all that entails.

in those areas I expect Nov 3 will be a full-on shitshow.

One of the MANY things that Dems need to fix while we have the chance (presuming we take all 3 branches next year)

most already voted either by mail or in person, the shorter lines will be on election day.
