Could Georgia become the next New Mexico / Virginia? Reliably blue

I see Texas not far behind. New Mexico and Virginia used to be a swing states not that long ago but demographic changes have made them sold blue. Seems a lot of liberals are moving to Atlanta and other large cities in Georgia. Hopefully in 10 years it will be solid blue. I don't see anything important trending red either. Maybe Wisconsin or PA trending red?

It will happen. Rep Lucy McBath was/is an example. If not this election, soon. Hoyt Oct 2020 #2

I live in the north Georgia mountains where masks are as scarce as Biden signs. Politically active rednecks abound. I pray the big city votes drown out my neighbors.

GA, NC, AZ and TX are trending purple to even lean blue, and OH, IA and WI are trending lean red. That is 80 EVs trending blue while only 34 EVs are trending red. MI and PA should remain lean blue states. SC should be lean red, but gettable going forward. MT and AK will remain red for presidential campaigns, but I expect to see more Democrats win state-wide offices.

Younger, more diverse states will trend blue, while older, less diverse states will lean led. Sasse is right that Trump has negatively influenced a generation of young voters against Republicans. Now the Democrats need to do something with this advantage.
