And honestly, I have no idea where that is coming from or what sort of evidence they are claiming supports it.

My gut just thinks that it's little more than a reflexive effort at projection and little more than switching out "Trump" for "Biden" and "Russia" for "China."

Is it even worth asking where these people are coming from, or is this just as baseless as it appears to be?

1. It's another instance of projection.

Trump wants us to forget he begged Xi to buy soybeans (allegedly to help him win re-election), and that was about the only concession Trump even got from the prolonged Tariff Wars.

Xi is another leader who flattered Trump just enough that Trump thought they had "a great relationship" while China continued to expand its tentacles into the territories of our allies while the US disappeared from the international scene.

Also, because of that fake friendship that exists only in Trump's mind, the US continues to be more less silent on China's human rights abuses.

4. I posted about this as well

a couple of months ago and came up empty. Russia is obviously going to bat for Trump, so *somebody* has to be going to bat for Biden (presumably to create a "both sides" narrative). I don't know of any substantive evidence or information that suggests that there is any kind of comparable situation between Trump and Biden and Russia and China. China is also- per our illustrious President- our #1 enemy because of COVID, so, of course, he thinks that tying Biden to China damages him.

We are all to stop blaming Trump for the virus, no one could have done a better job than Trump. It is all China's fault, they created the virus in a lab just to stop Trump from being reelected, anyone who blames Trump for the virus is a Chinese commie lover.
