... but the polling doesn't seem to reflect such optimism.

Damn glad Ohio isn't needed this time. I'd like a Biden win here, but won't be freaking out about it.

Kentucky was never in play for Dems. It's too Republican. That's why it will be very hard to unseat Moscow Mitch.

I went to some festival called "Court Days" in Kentucky as a preteen child in the 70's, and witnessed some gigantic redneck-acting guy tell an African American man standing behind me in line, "Back of the line, boy." My parents weren't with me, and it shocked me that the black guy quietly complied and nobody did a damn thing!

They are only Democrats because otherwise they have no say in their local governance. My grandmother was a Republican for the same reason though she voted for every Democrat from FDR through Obama's first election. She died in late May of 2012.

Reduce their receipts from the federal government to the amount of taxes sent to DC.

Obviously Kentucky is not in play, but if the poll is accurate, it comports with the general trend of Trump losing support.
