Melania Trump appeared “astonished” that pop superstar Beyonce was given carte blanche by Vogue magazine in 2018, according to NBC News.

“Anna (Wintour) gave the September issue of Vogue cover — complete, complete, complete, everything — to Beyoncé,” the first lady was reportedly recorded telling a former friend and aide in July 2018.

Her predecessor Michelle Obama was on the cover of Vogue three times while Barack Obama was in office. Former first lady Hillary Clinton also appeared in the magazine. Melania, who has modeled, has not graced the pages of the popular fashion mag since her husband took office in 2016.

Beyoncé is a very talented singer and dancer, who's been working hard since the 90s with Destiny's Child, and has always stepped up in all sorts of ways politically and revealed herself to be very smart, pro-active, and well-informed.
