Rudy Giuliani gives alleged Hunter Biden hard drive to Delaware authorities

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna1244223

NBC News has requested a copy of the hard drive, but Giuliani has yet to respond.

By Tom Winter
Rudy Giuliani has provided an additional copy of a hard drive alleged to have belonged to Hunter Biden to Delaware authorities, a state official said Wednesday, and it's now in the hands of the FBI.

The move by Giuliani, President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, comes as Trump's supporters seek to draw attention to an issue the Trump campaign believes is damaging to former Vice President Joe Biden.

Giuliani visited the New Castle County Police Department in Delaware on Monday and handed over a copy of what he said was Hunter Biden's hard drive, according to a spokesperson for the Delaware Justice Department.

More at link.

Are these Delaware offixials comrades of Rudy?

2. That was (supposedly) the original hard drive.

The one they're talking about now is a copy. But if the FBI already had the actual hard drive, why would they need a copy of it?
Yet another aspect of this story that doesn't make sense.

3. And I'm pretty sure the FBI would have the laptop with the original hard drive.

And if it had anything incriminating on it, they would have pursued it.

The whole story is a poorly concocted pile of bullshit.

9. A copy is not the original data, bit like me printing out a page after I've altered it

without the original, its basically nothing.

I'm calling complete fabrication.

13. A hard drive by itself is useless as evidence

Any document or data file needs testimony by a witness as to the conditions under which it was created, how it has been stored and prevented from alteration, and the chain of custody.

There is nothing reliable about the chain of custody in this case.

They aren't looking to win in court. They're looking to win at the ballots.

If enough credulous dunderheads believe the story, it doesn't matter whether it is true.

10. Also, if the FBI has this, then all "copies" must be handed over and discussion of anything on it

should have been warned by the FBI as interference in an ongoing investigation.

Which makes me think if they are still talking about means there is something funny going on.

17. Come to think of it, sometime back in late 2018, I saw this guy (who might have been Rudy)

drop a piece of paper in Atlanta. I couldn't be sure it was Rudy because I didn't actually see him. But I thought it was strange to see Rudy there, in St Louis, the same day I was there, so I picked it up and made copies of it, just in case somebody killed me. It looks incriminating to me: I think it's a list of teenage runaway prostitutes he was jigging. I guess I should send it to the FBI and the Kentucky state police, since I found it in Kentucky

It took Rudy this long to get 50MB of child pornography together to add to the drive.

Here’s Rudy’s problem: The FBI has a copy of this drive already. The first thing they’re going to do is mount both drives on a Mac and do a Get Info on them. If the newly submitted copy and the one they have now have different amounts of data on them, Rudy is truly fucked and so is Trump.
