6. Ice Cube is a little different. He's well intentioned but under informed and naive.

Naive in allowing trump's campaign to latch onto part of his platinum plan and under informed in thinking it's ever a good idea to trust trumpers. I say his intentions are good as he spoke in an interview with journalist Roland Martin that he specifically wants programs aimed towards helping African American descendants of enslavement. He feels that that demographic group, gets lost in the shuffle with bills and programs which encompass all POCs and other minorities. I tend to agree with that African Americans are the most visible minority and have historically been the most targeted victims of racism and are the victims of hundreds of years of the most vicious and continued racism (see George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and on and on and an on).

Japanese Americans were compensated for WWll internment. Jewish holocaust victims were compensted. Native Americans, though still poorly treated, many tribes have sovereign nation status and casino businesses. Nothing had ever been done to address the hundreds of years of stolen, unpaid labor that African Americans endure. And there's always excuses like, "well I wasn't alive during slavery and I had nothing to do with it", while benefiting presently from getting first preference over African Americans in hiring, promotions, housing opportunities and on and on and on and on.
