I do realize we may not know the results as quickly as we want. I just want Biden to win by a very wide margin so there is no doubt he is the winner. I have confidence the Dems will take the senate too and keep the House! I am very concerned about the time after the election until Jan 20---I have great fears about what Trump might do. I will do my best to keep my sanity!

I would give anything to be sedated until the day after the election. Unfortunately I have to work, which is kind of hard to do when you are completely out of it. Also, I have no drugs and no connections. I suppose I will just have to deal until then. I have never really reacted well to drugs anyway, so it's just as well.

It is going to feel like the longest week of our lives. I can't believe tomorrow is only Tuesday, Oct 27th. It feels like it should be so much later than that.

If you can’t donate or volunteer then call that relative or old friend who just couldn’t vote democratic because of abortion and let them know they can vote for Joe now that they stole the Supreme Court. Maybe you know someone who just thinks their vote doesn’t matter- call them and let them know it does.

Now with Barrett there is a 6-3 majority of Justices so conservative that IMO do not support nor adhere the social contract / Constitution / laws of the nation to favor small vested interests. Worrisome.

I am going to worry until January 20, 2021 when Biden is in office. If Biden wins a fair election, Trump will destroy everything he can before leaving office.

CV19 looks to kick our asses this Winter. Economy will get worse. Even success by Biden et al may look bad but could be all that is possible.

I love reading. And I’m also watching “the good wife”. Incredible show, I’m in the final season 7, about a dozen episodes left.

But, everything is finally here. We need to be strong. We knew Barrett was getting the confirmation so that was no surprise. Now we just need to take the next steps to rebalance the court once Biden is Inaugurated.

Had something taking up my time till this Tue that has made me anxious in it's own right. But I think that will be ok, though will need further attending to.

I have hope, a bit of confidence (all from reading, and listening to stuff), while also having washes of concern, anxiety, and bits of (rare) near terror.

I'm thinking about and looking at yarn craft projects, jewelry making, and drawing. On FB w family and friends, phone too.

I'm here (since Aug) and elsewhere on a long time sub forum that is long been political - just w less people now so I sought out another place. Then Rachel, Lawrence, sometimes Chris & Joy. WNYC - Brian Lehrer, and others, NPR, Seth, Colbert, Amber Ruffin, and Trevor.

I'm going to do some phonework for the last 5-6 days. Maybe a few hand-made signs. Will vote either Weds, Thurs, Fri, or Sunday (weather - no rain) in person, double-masked.

Must look up medium priced champagne. 😁

(and I have a few generic Xanax just in case)
