I voted today, with my ballot and my money.

Well, actually I filled out my mail-in ballot yesterday (Sunday) and hand-delivered it to the county clerk's office this afternoon (Monday). There were perhaps a dozen voters there voting absentee and I had to wait in line for a few minutes. No big whoop.

Just now, I got online and made my last round of donations for this election. I gave $60 to the Biden/Harris campaign, $25 to Nicole Galloway, Democratic candidate for governor here in Missouri, and $25 to Lindsey Simmons, Democrat running for Congress in Missouri's 4th Congressional District.

We have no Senate race here in Missouri this time around, so I donated $25 each to 17 Democratic Senate candidates around the country: Amy McGrath, MJ Hegar, Sara Gideon, Theresa Greenfield, Cal Cunningham, Mark Kelly, Jaime Harrison, Doug Jones, John Hickenlooper, Raphael Warnock, Jon Ossoff, Steve Bullock, Mike Espy, Barbara Bollier, Al Gross, Gary Peters and Jeanne Shaheen.

That's it for this election. I am now all donated out. I wish I could tell them all that they can stop sending me dozens of emails every day asking me for money. I have no more money. In three big and two small rounds of donations this election cycle, I have donated a total of almost $1,700 to Biden/Harris, Galloway, Simmons and those 17 Democratic U.S. Senate campaigns. That's a LOT of money for a 70-year-old retired man living on Medicare and two pensions, but I want desperately to sweep these loathsome Republicons out of office.

Now there's nothing more I can do, and I'll be on pins and needles for the next week ...
