Ossoff is polling 51%. There are 2 rinky dink Dem candidates pulling 3% in the Georgia jungle Senate race. These two need to drop out immediately and back Ossoff. If he wins over 50% he gets seated immediately and no run off election. This is no time for contrarians and rogue Dem candidates on ego trips.

(19,264 posts)However they are in the race with Warnock not Ossoff. Yeah confusing. Due to the special election GA is voting on two different senate seats in the same year.

(19,264 posts)Yes there are two Senate races in GA.
One has Ossoff and it is a straight normal general election race. There are no other Democrats.
The other is the special primary with Warnock in the lead. Yes the other Democrats should drop out but both have stated multiple times they will not.

(630 posts)it's 2 different races. The ossof race has a libertarian, which according to the civiqs poll may be hurting perdue a point or 2. Warnock, however, needs every dem vote he can get.

(1,406 posts)My father-in-law, rest his soul, used to tell us how some blacks and some poor whites used to make most of their annual income during election time. They would get paid to "pretend" and get their friends and others to the polls to vote for certain candidate even if they didn't like the person. Who they voted for didn't matter, it only mattered that they could get the message out to vote for the candidate who was paying them the most money. In those days, it wasn't a matter of choosing between a black and white candidate...the candidates were always white. Blacks in a community would vote their pockets or vote for the least racist person if he could be identified. No women ran for office. They have come a long way since those days.
Just saying...those rinky dink candidates are on the ballot for a reason. Look at the numbers. Just whom do you think will win a run-off in the Senate race in GA?
