With no Yahoo comment section,

There are a WHOLE lot of idiot repukes posting slime on Craigslist (at least in Delaware & Philly, the ones I check) and in the comment sections in Yahoo Finance (which are supposed to be about stocks and stuff). I "flag" them as inappropriate whenever I see them, and they then seem to be removed, but it's like whack-a-mole. I have noticed some recent anti-Trump backlash "ads" being posted on Craigslist, some of which are quite amusing, but.....is there nowhere safe from sudden blood-pressure-spike-inducing commentary? It's like the village idiot/drunk standing there yelling at you while you're just trying to cross the street.

I can't wait until this is over and Trump & his swamp creatures leave DC and all the locks/passwords/nuclear codes are changed so Trump can't pawn them off to pay off his debts to Russian oligarchs.

I never noticed the "Politics" section....I usually check out the "free" section unless I'm looking for something in particular (or posting something to sell/give away). If there's a politics section, they should keep their comments there. I couldn't go in there right now b/c I feel too volatile and on edge to deal with it

in the discussion forums. I just happen to be in a big political city so there were 4 groups= local +USA But also Middle East and World politics
I have to say the Chicago local politic discussion group was being misused in a way since it was all a lot of trump trashing but maybe it was all local input as opposed to national access in the other group which seemed more trumpy

Anyway somewhere in one of these groups- that is where the comments belong- Not in Free item posts !!! Very Wrong
now I understand your OP's disgust better with the reply you posted
