Facebook Deactivation

Has anyone else recently had their FB account suddenly deactivated?

I did. When I tried to send it the ID verification, I got an automated message that when accounts are deactivated for violation of their standards, there's no recourse in getting it reactivated.

I don't have a lot of FB friends. I've become more selective and only want people I know in real life. This seems sudden and uncalled for especially since there seems to be no way to appeal their decision.

What really sucks is that this is how I reconnected with and stay in touch with family.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has recently experienced something similar?

1. I haven't but create a new e-mail and use that

to create a new Facebook account.

4. Last year I completely deleted mine...so glad I did, haven't missed it for a second

When I want to know how a friend is doing I call them. On the phone.

Has worked fine for over 45 years.
