From the Supervisor of Elections Web Site.
Right now it's about 2-1, but if a majority of "others" go Democratic, then we're closer to 100,000. Almost 1-1.
Now take a look at the final results for the 2016 General Election.................
TOTAL VOTES 131,783
There have already been 70,000 more votes cast in 2020 than in the full election in 2016. In both 2016 and current 2020 #'s, Reps vs Dem, we're at a 2-1 disadvantage. But hopefully the "others" are leaning more blue than red.
This is one of the Reddest counties in Fl. Dumbo DeSantis lives in this County. We may not flip the county, but hope we tilt the scales for the state.
Edited to correct a incorrect analysis.

(17,021 posts)registered Repubs vote for Biden. You know there are some. Same for the independents, especially if they are younger.

(609 posts)Hope you are correct. In the end, COVID, calamity , recession, whatever it is, Florida will vote for Trump from their ventilators. My only sadness is- Many Democrats are sitting on their butts and not sending in their requested mailing ballots. Not in your county but elsewhere. Miami-Dade is very lethargic.

(1,665 posts)88,000-43,000 is pretty close to 2-1? Am I missing something?
Hope the republicans have some Biden votes. Heavily red districts with mysteriously and unexpectedly high participation increases are where republicans like to hide their shenanigans.

(609 posts)No change. As expected, do not expect any change in behavior from both Florida GOP and lethargic Democrats. Nelson/Gillum lost because many did not return ballots. Same old....
Trump will again win by 0.5 to 1%.
Obama is working his tail off elsewhere. Democrats, I hope, will take the cue from a great man.
Fla Dem
(23,785 posts)and voting hasn't ended. So hoping many of those "Others" are Biden voters, along with a percentage of Republican voters. Not giving up hope.

Fla Dem
(23,785 posts)Additionally there were almost 1.4 million NPA. I would like to hope that more than half of those votes went to Biden.
I couldn't find Miami-Dade specific numbers, Dem vs Rep, but having the total Fl vote is even better.

Some additional infor re: Miami Dade.
6.9M Florida ballots cast out of 14.4M, now at 48%. Florida Democrats with a 245K vote lead over Republicans (2.84M vs 2.59M). 1.92M mailed ballots to be counted. Looking at in-person voting, 2.8M voters have turned out, with Republicans showing up at the polls in larger numbers (1.32M) vs Democrats (953K).
