Scotus just ruled against the GOP 5 to 3 that North Carolina has 9 days versus 3 to receive ballots. Roberts and Kavanaugh joined the liberals once again. Not bad, considering the makeup of the Court.

Nah, I actually don't think even a right wing SC wants another Bush Vs Gore. ..But this would be worse as the votes would be counted. The court would never recover.

3. Were they judging a state level decision? They don't like going against a state, as opposed to a

Federal decision, because the constitution says states will enact election laws. In PA, the GOP wanted to overturn a state decision. But in WI, they ruled against a federal court's decision.

5. You know what this reminds me of?

When I was young, I had a friend who had a daddy complex and dated a man who was as old as her dad. He got us into the casinos and showed us his system. He would "feed" the machines, dropping one or two dimes into the machine, watching the patterns that came up. And then, when he thought the machine would hit, he put in five of six dimes and more often than not, he would score a bit hit.

And that's how I see these Liberal decisions that this conservative Supreme Court makes. They are feeding the machine, and when the big case comes, they are going to clean the table and get all the wins that are important to them.
