NY-22: Court Documents Show Tenney Potentially In Contempt Of Court

Recently obtained court documents show former Congresswoman Claudia Tenney may be in contempt of court. According to a recent radio interview Veteran and staunch Trump supporter Mike Stanton is engaged in a prolonged legal battle with Tenney. Court documents, and Stanton’s interview, show that Tenney was asked to vacate her campaign office by October 29th – but she’s refusing to clear out.
Stanton wants voters to know Claudia Tenney is “a mess” and frankly, we agree.
“Claudia Tenney’s blatant disregard for the rule of law, the people she seeks to serve, and a Veteran of our Air Force is deeply disturbing,” said DCCC Spokesperson Christine Bennett. “If she cannot keep her word in private, why would anyone expect her to keep it in public? NY-22 deserves better. Fortunately, voters have the opportunity to evict Claudia from the public square Tuesday.”
A search of the New York State Court System shows Tenney’s legal battle with Stanton extends for months. During his long interview, Stanton outlined Tenney’s legal maneuvers and efforts to avoid finishing an agreed upon sale.
When asked about his political affiliations and why he’s coming forward, Stanton said, “Trump is the man. I think Trump is the greatest President who walked the planet. People need to know her [Tenney’s] character. They need to know that if she’s going to do this with an individual she’s going to do this with the state.”
