"ARRDURRDARRDURRDARR." (The State of Mind of the So-Called President)

Daniel Dale @ddale8
Trump is again telling his story about how he could beat up Biden just with a small push, not even closing his fist, "ding, he's gone." He then mocks Biden's sunglasses again. He then says Biden is "very agitated" and makes general agitated noises like "ARRDURRDARRDURRDARR."

He won’t win the presidency again, but with talking points like that, Trump’s a shoo-in for class president of a remedial middle school.

It's like a window into his wretched soul.

I often think much of what he does is an act, but I wonder if he even realizes he's doing it.

He thinks he's a good scriptwriter. If nobody is telling him the truth, he's diving deeper into his own delusion, which is all he's ever wanted, to be free to be the monster that he is with the power to keep everyone from breaking his bubble. But he knows, listen to a minute or two of the Woodward recordings and it's clear he thinks this is his greatest teevee project ever and that he feels that he has impunity to be whatever he feels like being at any moment.

He's a one trick abomination, the key is to keep whatever the commodity is, whether money or some other valuable thing, to keep it in motion, never resting long anywhere in order to evade accountability and exposure. It's been his game all a long which includes publicity because, vanity, but that's all he's got as far as a strategy but he knows he's doing it.

I think about that a lot in the context of whatever his latest shiny object is at any given time. Trump sounded like a mostly-rational, semi-normal human being on those tapes. It also reminds me of Sarah Palin - everyone who worked with her previously said the whole thing was an act, including the winking and the accent.
