Seems the main GOP strategy in NY

Is that the Police should have no accountability and Democrats want to close the Police Departments.

The NYPD have been barricading themselves in their precincts for week. Cars can't even get down some streets or pedestrians down some sidewalks. THe City Council President has filed a law suit as such action is against the City Charter. Scared to death apparently.

The police unions are behind a lot of that, talk about grievance! THat said, they are doing nothing to help themselves. There is some outreach starting to happen but it is haphazard. The precinct directly down the street from me, put out notices about where they would be meeting with citizens but not one meeting in the area was/is scheduled in the area where they are stationed.
