There will be people recognized as National Heroes when this election is over

We can already name a few:

Stacey Abrams heads the list
Beto O'Rourke is there, too
Add Emmett Sullivan to the list

But wait, there will be more.

Poll workers
Voters putting up with shit but remaining strong, stalwart and DETERMINED.
People who help others to the polls.

Secretaries of State
Governors
Election Chiefs
FBI agents

In my view, there should be special acknowledgement for Women of Color. They are my heroes, to be sure.

Add to the list if you have other names.

I'm gaining appreciation for just how important they have been and are to the Democratic Party and national progress.

isn't afraid of any challenges, e.g., his going on Faux News and taking them on. He's also been on national TV constantly too, and I've been so impressed, so taken aback by his totally down to earth answers to questions posed to him on just about anything. A hero if you ask me.

We expect us Democrats to do our part - some did it splendidly like Beto, Stacy Abrams and Mayor Pete.

TLP is not one of us but they worked tirelessly to bring the orange baby clown down for the love of their country. None of them will get a cabinet post or an ambassadorship - they did it without expectations and of their own accord.

The republican crossover vote is expected to be as much as 18% and they should get credit for that.

who put their personal ambitions aside after Joe won SC, withdrew from the race and backed Joe Biden. Had they not done that it might have been a very ugly primary season with the eventual winner badly wounded and damaged.
And very likely not had a candidate as strong as Joe is right now.

Mrs. Hatrack here, hijacking Hatrack's account for a minute.

I have long said that if we get through this Trump era intact as a country, when the history of this time is written, the very first hero mentioned in the saga should be the anonymous National Park Service employee who tweeted out the side-by-side photos of the comparative crowds at Obama's and Trump's inaugurations on Day 1 of Trump's administration.

At a time when millions of us were in despair, that anonymous employee said "Game On" and signaled that we were not going to take this, or "alternative facts," lying down. He or she must be included among the list of many heroes and true patriots of this time.
