I live in the bible belt, one of probably the most red of red counties in the country. Democrats run as independents here because no democrat would ever get elected. I've noticed on a street that was lined with W signs in 2000 and 2004, and McCain in 2008, has NO Romney signs whatsoever. They liked Santorum around here. The good thing is the few Democrats that live on that street have their Obama/Biden signs out so for the first time in the 12 years I've lived here the only signs on that street or bumper stickers I'm seeing anywhere around here are Obama/Biden. A small concession for sure but it exemplifies how much even in one the most red counties in the US they really don't like Romney.
