"Going to court requires making actual legal arguments. And none of the claims Trump made on Wednesday morning qualifies as a legal argument, let alone a winning one."
My take in @PostEverything: https://washingtonpost.com/outlook/2020/11/04/trump-court-election-count/

(2,002 posts)That Trump would have very limited avenues for legal challenges. It doesn't work to say "people are saying.." and his typical nonsense that he doesn't have to back-up. Any legal challenge probably ends up looking like all the other court cases where he made layers argue bizarre things that courts essentially laughed at. Courts are not going to shut down the counting of ballots which were cast Tuesday or prior to the 3rd simply because someone wants no more votes to be counted.

(1,178 posts)At this point, while Trump is hoping there's a hail mary, I think more than anything is he wants his Trumpers to become unleashed under the assumption it was stolen from him.
