Bernie doesn't help when he falsely self-labels as a Democratic Socialist, as he is simply a bog standard social democrat, which is a huge difference. Democratic socialists want the state to take over the means of production (Bernie has said he is against that in a tonne of speeches)

Bernie is more or less exactly like the social democrats here in the Nordics. We combine a vibrant, but highly regulated (I argue it is vibrant BECAUSE, not in spite of the regulation) capitalist sector with an very broad, comprehensive social welfare state. They work synergistically together.

It is the one thing I disagree with AOC on. She is not a dem soc, she is like Bernie and many others, a social democrat. It is hubristic to try and think one can rename and re-define 200 year old academic and every day common parlance delineated definitions. It invites big trouble in uber reactionary America, where the average under-educated person automatically and ludicrously equates socialism (of all types) with full stop communism.

Prosecutors would have to prove that his actions caused local employees to hide/destroy ballots. In fact, they have to prove that ballots were actually not processed. That supposed 300,000 ballots could well be administrative errors in processing the tally of received and sent to Election Officials unless they find the ballots.

As much as I'd like to see prisons occupied by these cretins, just don't see most of trump's buddies being prosecuted because it's unlikely they'll be convicted, especially with such a close election.
