At a Sept. 30 Las Vegas rally with about 11,200 people in attendance, 91 year-old WW2 veteran Stephen Sherman honors the Commander-in-Chief with a raised fist salute.
'Commander Sherman,' as he likes to be called, was California's oldest delegate to this summer's DNC . . .

For more than 12 years, Mr. Sherman made it his mission to offer his help to countless disabled veterans across the nation. He has worked tirelessly to locate and help homeless, disabled and mentally ill veterans living on the streets of America. Mr. Sherman established the Dorie Miller Memorial Foundation, which works to connect veterans with evidence-based healthcare, telemedicine, wellness and family consultation, employment programs, and more. Stephen Sherman is being recognized as a Champion of Change for his dedication to service and his continued support for efforts to: end homelessness, boost employment and treat mental health disparities for fellow veterans.
