Police Log Report Contradicts Romney's Account Of 1981 Arrest

The liberal blog Blue Mass Group got a copy of a police blotter report, published in the Natick Sun newspaper in 1981. Romney previously gave a version of the events in 1994 that excluded the charge of operating an unregistered motorboat and had said he was let go without bail.

Yes, most of us did silly things when we were young - although in 1981 Romney was not that young. In any case, why lie about it. That's the significant part of this.

Romney was 34 at the time. For most of us, being arrested for disorderly conduct at the age of 34 would have a significant impact on our jobs. Not Romney. He's the 1%.

A 34 year old acting stupid usually gets attention no matter who is his Daddy. I also wonder given his odd emotional responses today about lingering traumatic brain injury (from car crash and coma) that shows up later in life.
