Majority Of UK Conservative Party Members Want Britain To Leave The EU

...54% would favour ending Britain's EU membership while maintaining a free-trade agreement.

Almost a quarter - 24% - would like a more flexible relationship with the EU, with continued co-operation on key policy areas, while 10% said Britain should maintain its current relationship but ignore European laws which were not in the national interest.

5% said the UK should leave the EU and not seek any new agreements with it.

3% said the Government should keep the current relationship with the EU but not sign up to any further integration.

Britain should eventually stage an in-or-out referendum on membership of the European Union, one of Labour's shadow cabinet has said.

He added that "almost everyone" in the Labour Party would campaign for the UK to remain in the EU.

The 17 members of the eurozone, of which the UK is not a part, are expected to back further fiscal and political integration in an effort to prevent a repeat of the debt crisis. This has led to fears of a "two-tier" Europe developing, with many arguing it could result in the UK leaving the organisation altogether.

"My preference would be an in-or-out referendum when the time comes. Whenever the referendum comes, almost everyone in the Labour Party, along with the Liberal Democrats, will be arguing we should stay part of the EU, because it is good for our economy and good for Britain."

Sounds like most in the Conservative Party want the UK out of the EU (5% want nothing to do with Europe at all - must be the "tea party" wing) while "almost everyone in the Labour Party, along with the Liberal Democrats, will be arguing we should stay part of the EU". Who knows whether when a referendum like this will be held.

It's good to live on island, mind your own business and not to bother others. The cognitive dissonance of financial neocolonialists who are dependent from robbing and bothering other people is very different thing.
