Elizabeth Warren won the debate tonight.

She was reasonable, not afraid to state her opinion and gave some great answers.

Brown, on the other hand, came across as wishy-washy and petulant, ran away from Republicans as much as possible, then named Scalia as his favorite SC justice. He also chickened out of answering the Red Sox question.

I sure hope the undecided voters of MA saw it that way.

From the article:

As the slugfest that was the UMass Lowell/Herald debate wound down, Sen. Scott Brown stumbled a bit when asked to name his “model Supreme Court justice.”

“Um, let me see here, that’s a great question,” said Brown.

He then named four, including John Roberts and Sonia Sotomayor.

Not a single mention of Scalia in the entire article. Unbelievable.

Warren showed she was very torn about the answer, then eventually said he should probably get one more year. Brown refused to say if the manager should stay or go.
