Then he opens his mouth and confirms that impression!

He comes across as a person of marginal intelligence. A lot of confidence, but nothing to really back it up.

high school jock who is more muscle than brains. Trying to figure out how he got through law school.

He sort of looks like "Jayne" from Firefly (Adam Baldwin).

He called her Sotomayer -- Sotomay-ER.

4. I think that up until now,

he's had the advantage of not needing to talk too much in public - just ride around in his truck and wave! Anyone who starts his first debate talking about his opponent not "looking" like she's native American, is not exactly Senate material.

It was just luck that his previous opponent sucked. He can't squeak by this time.

As long as he keeps talking, Elizabeth Warren doesn't have to do much of anything. Just that look on her face when he opens his mouth is more than enough.

It is that great "teacher look" and Brown looks like he wants to just disappear. AND its very possible that is exactly what he will do very soon.
