I found this on a liberal website and somebody posted this
Post-Racial Age?
To everyone who says that since we elected a black president that racism is dead, I present you with this:

(54,770 posts)Don't know how hard it is to track, but I hope somebody videos them if authorities do. Sure we won't be allowed to see it, though.

(25,699 posts)But it seems to me that white liberals have been trying to convince themselves that racism is a thing of the past, for nearly fifty years now. I've run into too many who complain about "the race card" (Hell, go look at the Trayvon Martin threads on DU) and too few that acknowledge that the entire deck if cards is racism.
In the case of the president - among others - when the opposition has no rational reason for their hatred, one has to start looking at irrational reasons; racism tops that list.

(33,924 posts)Anyone who thought electing a black president meant the end of racism clearly has no idea what the fuck racism is. #whitepeople

(18,048 posts)As a parent of a biracial child, it irritates me enormously that people don't seem to get this. Barack Obama has a white mother. He is white AND black. I get that people shorthand it since he "looks black" but seems to me there should be a really touching narrative. He is not "the other", he is actually like MOST OF US.
I realize I'm in a minority on caring about this lol. But it bothers me so much. My daughter "looks white"--if she were president she would have to deal with Elizabeth Warren type questions because it seems like some people are idiots.
