This is incredible to see. Going to be hard for them to over turn that amount

(1,968 posts)That also helps lift my spirits a bit regarding the January 5th dual senatorial runoff.
Hopefully the democrats can mobilize and capitalize of the current encouraging numbers.

(3,538 posts)The Repugs dispirited with their God/Emperor defeated, the Democratic Party enthused and motivated; the Senate is within reach!

(5,111 posts)Weird that they announced a recount before the first count was completed
We ARE talking about a state that Brian Kemp is governor of.

(92,422 posts)is the last day to register for the January runoff
Besides raising money for the runoff for ads, and getting out the vote, there is a lot of work to do
There is so much that we can do if we get these two seats

(15,555 posts)The ads are going to be important in this runoff, if only for the fact that it will remind people that there is an election. We MUST keep the momentum going. (Or the Joementum)
Georgia is really making me proud and I'm not even from there. Just been there many times. Maybe they can be a shining example to North Carolina!

(6,852 posts)I honestly didn't think it was possible. Those beautiful blue spots on the sea of red just kept growing until they eclipsed the red dust, red clay, red neck, red state inevitability. And collards boiled with bacon too. Feed you children right.
When I was 9 my family moved out of a rented house without running water, heated by a coal fireplace, whose walls were papered with newspaper and denim. I was ecstatic to be delivered from that. I recollect that feeling today when I reflect on what Stacey has done.

(1,910 posts)Just donated to each of the candidates. The plan is simple, try to win these 2 GA seats, if not, use executive orders and govern well until 2022. Show the people those 2 years how our way works, win the Senate in 2022. So its either Senate Jan 5th or Senate 2022, Either way Mitch is going down.

(10,085 posts)Ossoff got 47.9% while Biden was at 49.5%. That seems strange given that I would think the Biden voters would also have voted for Ossoff.
Time to start donating. What do readers here think about postcards with reminders to vote? When they come from out of state, does that make in-state voters think theyre being influenced by people with no say in their vote? Im ready to write postcards when the time comes, but Im wondering how effective the strategy is.
