Fantastic Suggestion re Warnock v Ossoff !

@matthewjdowd

If the Dems were smart in Georgia they would have Ossoff and Warnock do a series of Lincoln-Douglas style debates around the state arguing with each other over which of their opponents is more corrupt and more out of touch with average Georgians.

23,000 Georgians turn 18 before January.

Ossoff & Warnock should develop a "Contract for Georgia" of specific laws that Georgians want that can only be enacted by a Democratic Senate.

They should take the Contract to Schumer and get his commitment to ensure passage, demonstrating they can deliver for Georgia.

After all, they BOTH represent all of GA, it isn’t like the House which is limited to districts.

Present a united front!

We'd be better off with 49 than 48 because God may someday make purple turn Blue.

Difficult to express the importance of these contests. I'd be happy to get anything out of this. 49? Okay, but I really wanted a pony.

But still see the count going down as an "all or nothing" scenario, regardless. It is the fulcrum of the south, after all. I'll hope with you.

They need to identify the already passed House bills that would benefit Georgians and for which McConnell refuses to allow a vote. McConnell uses his power to hurt people like those in Georgia. The only way to stop that is to send him back to minority leader so he can't prevent the changes that Georgia wants to see.

Preexisting conditions.

I wouldn't mention Trump's name once... McConnell yes, but Trump no.

My gut feeling is that the SC will punt on November 10, but even if they kill preexisting conditions, it's a massive own goal that must be made the defining issue of the moment by Democrats.

not sure if it was him or David Plouffe who made a really interesting point when they were trying to understand why 7 million more people would vote for Trump, and he said that people in rural red states are actually shit scared of Covid. So when they hear Trump, within the RW echo chamber say that the vaccine is nearly ready and then see that Trump had it, and recovered to do 5 rallies a day, they believed him. It will all come out in the wash when proper analysis is done, but even if that is half true, I would pump the Healthcare and covid message into Red areas of Georgia, non stop until Jan 5.

When Ossoff was running in Georgia 6, Karen Handel campaigned against Nancy Pelosi. Georgians are used to the concept.
